Well heres one, TAPS with is a group based in the US has been doing lots of work with thermal imaging, with I'm glad to say some really good results. Unlike a very well known UK based group who used it to try to detect Farts!!!! (and this was on tv!)....... So the future of Paranormal Research looks like it will involve this kind of kit. Right now the price in the UK is really over the top, with a most cheep units costing around £500+ which is far to much for most groups to pay. My advice? well your local Fire station has one! and the fire service is updating most of the old kit.....So there might be one or too going cheep...... Or e-bay. There is nothing wrong with a second hand unit they work just as well. For advice on this subject you can ask me or log onto Tomsgadgets...(a guy who supply's most of my kit)....Or Ghost-Mart.com (some nice kit on this site) Whichever you do or don't do have fun with you kit....the best way to find out how it works is to get out and try it....you'll be amazed at what you see..... Enjoy Face

Hi Face, I would like to ask a stupid question. Do you intend to seek out spirits that have been buried with the thermal imaging camera? As I know they are used to detect live victims buried in earthquakes. Herman.

Not sure that would work herman since as dead bodies do not tednt to give off heat as they go cold.
Also how would intead find people that have been cremated.

Hi Chesokid, So why use them then, I can not see the point of using such s device if only live bodies are detected. Are you sure you know what you are talking about? Herman.

Yep know what i'm on about, Spirts call cause cold spots or hot spots in a room or location. You can use TI to check these areas to see if there is a change. There also good for Ruling out Paranoraml events...Something you hear in a dark wood or outdoor location can be ruled out by checking the area with TI. They are also being used to check out "hot" areas within building.. With the more upto date units being able to locate Electrical units under floor boards or that are out of site. Thus helpping to rule out problems with EMF. I know TI is very big in the US right now, and i think the way things are going it will be big over here. Face

Herman, Guess you could, but you might just be better using a laser to keep track of any hot moving parts. Would advise you look on the Ato-finnly site for this as they use them to control heat in there I.S areas

Hi Face, Thanks for the info the Lazar sounds a bit dangerous and could damage eye sight if someone accidentally walks in front of the instrument. Herman.
