It is a much debated subject that babies and young children are more able to see spirit people, than adults. Do you think this is true? your thoughts please...

Hi, When I was About 4 years old my friend and I used to walk to the river bridge quite often. This one day we both saw what was to us an old bearded man in odd (scruffy) clothing with a helmet complete with short horns. We walked back home and told mum, She passed it off as a Tramp. Our curiosity got the better of us so we went back only to find no one there. But it stuck in my mind over the years like it was yesterday. Now bear in mind this was the mid fifties, We had no tellie and had not started School, So nothing to influence us in any way. It was Only as time and education progressed that it became obvious to me what we had seen. Rad.

hi there,
that sounds an interesting story...where about in the country was this seen at the time. It may of been a viking or soldier spirit if were talking spirits. Do you believe, you personaly may be sensitive...but this doesn't mean that just becuase children see spirits doesnt nessecary mean you will see spirits when entering adult life, but then in some cases you continue on to believe and see such paranormal... thank you for posting please feel free to continue posting, we look forward to hearing more from you ;D

Hi, ;D I totally agree with all you say. The area was South Shropshire, and I don't consider myself Any more sensitive than the next person. Since being an adult I have seen one Ghost, fortunately with a witness, and also lived in a haunted house for nine years, both a which would be too long to go into here. ;D

It does seem in your case that maybe you are sensitive, but not really realised. Have you ever thought about developing your 'psyche'? I do believe everyone is able to tune in, its just learning how, and actually wanting to know more about the subject. If you shut off from your experiences then you tend not to develope as much as you potentially could within your psyche. You say you lived in a huanted home, in some ways that must of developed and opened up your psyche, and you could have potenial to develop this further....South Shropshire is rife of 'soilder spirit from all the battles around that area and surrounding, so that makes more evidentail value in what you may of seen as a child. interesting.... ;D'
